Who is responsible

Kensington Pro League (KPL), a community football league operating in Kensington, Johannesburg, South Africa, is the responsible party for the content and operation of this website. The site developer acts as a technical service provider and does not independently use visitor information for marketing.

Privacy questions can be sent by direct message to KPL on Instagram (@_kpl26) ↗. A dedicated privacy email and full physical service address have not yet been supplied; KPL should publish them here when available.

Information processed

This website has no user accounts, contact forms, newsletter, checkout, payment collection or advertising tracker. KPL does not ask visitors to submit personal information through this site.

Like most hosted websites, infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical request information—such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser or device information, requested page, date and time, and security or diagnostic events—to deliver and protect the site.

Purpose and lawful basis

Technical data is used only to deliver pages, maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose faults and keep the service reliable. Processing is limited to what is reasonably necessary for KPL’s legitimate interest in operating a safe public information website and to meet legal obligations where applicable.

Service providers and transfers

The site is hosted by Vercel. Hosting and network providers may process request data on infrastructure outside South Africa. KPL should ensure that any cross-border processing is subject to appropriate safeguards as required by the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Links to Sofascore and Instagram take you to independent services with their own privacy practices. This site does not embed those services or receive the information you submit to them.

Retention and security

KPL does not create a visitor database. Infrastructure logs are retained according to operational, security and legal needs and the hosting provider’s configured retention periods. Reasonable technical measures are used, including encrypted HTTPS delivery and restrictive browser security headers, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Your rights

Subject to POPIA, you may ask whether KPL holds personal information about you, request access or correction, object to certain processing, or request deletion where retention is not legally required. Contact KPL through the channel above and describe your request clearly.

Children and player information

The website publishes league-supplied names, club affiliations, results and scoring records for sporting and public-interest reporting. KPL must obtain any permissions required before publishing personal information or identifiable images of children. Please contact KPL promptly if content concerning you or a child requires review.
